We are looking for a professionals with experience in business liaison and business management , to manage our business from Pondicherry. Interest in, and knowledge of, vernacular architecture, as promoted by Auroville for instance, will be considered added advantage. We already have a resort-like exhibition Centre for Iindigenous Architecture, located 50 kms from Pondy near Kadappakkam, ECR. We propose to promote and offer to construct villas, bungalows and gated communities based on eco-friendly and cost-effective vernacular building techniques married to modern concepts of utility and decor.
Posts on offer:
Liaison Manager – to contact and follow up with clients on business and administrative matters. Some previous experience, with a great ability to stay focussed and professional is expected of the candidate.
Research Executive – Students of Architecture, Engineering and related fields may apply. Job involves research and data collection for maintaining the Centre’s website aimed at promotion of Vernacular architecture and artisans, and business development.
Responsibilities maybe handled from home, as far as possible.
